I'm is currently a NY-based actor. I have an impressive resume with work including:
-- a lead role in the award-winning film, Lady Hunters, where I received a nomination for best performance by Women in Horror Film Festival;
--Carrying Helen, a play I wrote, produced and performed in at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC.
I graduated from the William Esper Studio, have studied improv at Upright Citizen’s Brigade, and stand-up with Rick Crom.
I come to acting from a career in health care. Mostly working with children with life-threatening conditions.
In addition to work in hospitals and community organizations in NYC, I have traveled to Africa twice to explore the work of child life programs in hospitals in different cultures. First, to Kenya with Operation Smile and then to Cape Town, South Africa, where I lived for nine weeks, working on the burn and cancer units at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.
I study African elephants as a hobby!
I am also the co-author of The Automat: The History, Recipes and Allure of Horn & Hardart’s Masterpiece.
