It is wonderful to meet you and work with you. I love the audition process, and now even more so with the comfort and ease of self tapes being the common way. I am an excellent cold reader and can pick up the feel of a scene and a character very fast. If you need an authentic Australian accent, I'm your guy!
Fast paced dialogue is my pleasure! High powered characters with lots at stake. I love silly comedy just as much! I have a trained background in Shakespearian text for those summer festival auditions.
Having worked in theatre, film and TV for close to 20 years, I know how to play with a scene, mix it up, do quick and simple analysis, make and take adjustments/direction, and offer out of the box ways. I generally stick to maximum 30 minutes for self tapes and work as I would in the room - 2-3 takes, not including rehearsal. I find a full hour for theatre tapes is a great way to break down the scene and bring it to life.

In NYC, I have spent time honing skills with the Linklater Voice Centre, paying special attention to Shakespeare and Classical text; I work frequently with Karen Kholhaas of the Atlantic Theatre in scene study, monologue study, and a very deep dive in to the works of Tennessee Williams . I had the pleasure of playing Lloyd in a new workshopping of Reckless by Pulitzer and Tony nominated playwright Craig Lucas, directed by Mr Lucas himself, and I am a company and board member of Headwall Theatre Company in Astoria, NYC.
As a writer I have written for publications such as DNA Magazine and Equity magazine; and won the newcomer category for the international Hothouse Theatre monologue competition.
I am originally from Sydney, Australia; currently in NYC, and have a US Green Card. I am a proud member of Actors Equity Australia (MEAA).
