John Katona was born in Staten Island, New York, raised in Golden, Colorado, lived in Los Angeles, California for six years and is now back in CO to help his family through the pandemic. He has been acting most of his life in classes, school plays, Haunted Houses, student films, community theater, television, film, and voice over. While living in LA, John worked at Space Station Casting office and was frequently asked to be a reader for a wide range of auditions; from small projects to feature films. He is a very generous reader and always does his best to help other actors.
He really is everything you want in a client. Great and super cast-able look. Really terrific chops. John is a very inventive actor. I've been in this business nearly 30 years and he often surprises me. That is rare. He is also smart as can be. He listens and follows directions impeccably and he just has that hunger you need to learn more. He's as accomplished with comedy as he is drama. He is humble, modest, thoughtful and kind.
