Michael has been an actor and a director for twenty years, working both in America and internationally. He holds a BFA from the University of Arizona, and his MFA in Acting and Directing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has studied voice and speech with the current voice director for Harvard University. As an actor he has appeared on stage with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Texas Shakespeare Festival, the Unicorn Theatre, and many more, as well as performing internationally in Spain and Italy. His directing credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream which toured internationally to Teatro Patologico in Rome and Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan. He has served as the Artistic Director for The Hyperion Theatre Company in New York City since it's founding in 2007. In addition to performances, Hyperion has worked to give back to the community, working with it's audiences to raise over $11,000 for charitable organizations since the company was founded. The company's flagship project, original commedia dell'arte productions, recently completed it's seventh season, and toured from New York City to Chicago and Kansas City.
