Yurika began her acting studies at HB Studio, with extended classical training in Shakespeare. Alongside roles within pilots, short films, and commercials, she enjoys singing, and utilizing her fluency in Japanese (by translating scenes and working as a dialect coach on set.)
Graduating with a B.A. from Indiana University, Yurika also received a M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced and International Studies. Her previous careers include time in the press, political risk consulting, and technology sales.
Beyond acting, Yurika revels in fitness (boxing and running.)
