I have helped friends and fellow actors with self tapes out of my home (and online) for the last 5 years. I take being a reader seriously and love providing what the actor needs to succeed in their tape/session. I'm currently a TA at Armstrong Acting Studios here in Toronto. I like to think my superpower is making people feel comfortable.
Upcoming commercial audition?
Having booked over 50 national/international commercials and working with major brands like: McDonald's, Oreo, Budweiser, Smirnoff, Hyundai (just to name a few). I can help coach you to really nail those commercial auditions and feel confident.
With my 12+ years of modelling experience, I can help in these other areas as well:
-Posing (red carpet or other)
- Learn flattering angles
-Pre-headshot tutorial posing/expressions
I’ve been working in the industry for 10 years. I started off in modeling doing print work, commercials, runway and hand modeling. I’ve appeared in over 50 national/international commercials, working with large brands like Smirnoff, Oreo, Budweiser (just to name a few). The two most recent bookings being: McDonald's and Hyundai.
I am a union represented actor (ACTRA). I have experience in principle roles in feature films, indies, shorts and a few small theatre performances. I am known for my charm, smile and strong camera presence. My most recent work include playing Casey Macey, a Pop star icon opposite real-life pop star Mya in Lifetime’s My Favorite Christmas Melody and Lisa; the quirky other half of George in Be Mine, Valentine. I am currently preparing for an action movie drama and playing the lead in ‘Robbie’ which is to begin filming late 2022.
With a greater focus towards acting in the last 8 years I have worked VERY hard in my training. I’m always enrolled in a class, trying and experimenting with different techniques (Meisner has a special place in my heart). I have training in Mocap, Voice, Improv and continue to hone my skills in all of these areas, along with my combat/weapons training (including unarmed, single sword, handguns and quarterstaff). In my current arsenal I have a custom hand made bow, throwing knives, nunchucks, light sabres and butterfly knives.
My interests are not only limited to being seen on screen. I have a thirst for knowledge and a broader understanding for the industry beyond being an actor. I have worked in numerous behind the camera roles such as PA, Set Decorator, Wardrobe, 3rd AD and Producer. Every year at TIFF, I have been asked by The Creative Coalition to announce the awards dinner/ceremony. I am currently working on writing two passion projects: a short film and a web series.
If you have me on your set, you can expect a professional, kind, calm and fun human to be around. On set, I'm known for putting others at ease, making people laugh and my love of snacks.
I take my job seriously, but not myself. I’ve been told I’m professional and an absolute pleasure to work with and I hope you get the chance to find that out for yourself. If you have any further questions- Please don't hesitate to ask!
