Kyla Sylvers

NYC based actress, writer, director, and producer.

On stage I've performed in NYC, L.A., London, and Chicago. I am currently in the Shakepeare archives thanks to a performance I did in London where I was part of the first group of women to perform the play. I was in the East Coast Premiere of THE LAST GASP at The Player's Theater in NYC. My solo piece, CHAOS AT 26! OR MAYBE ITS NOT SO BAD won a development grant and was performed at The Tank theater last year. I performed in the unaired indie pilot POP QUEENS, the award-winning supernatural short film THE BLACK BANSHEE, and the hit web series SEX, VLOGS, AND KIDNAPPINGS and TREADING YESTERDAY.

I also have a background as a teacher artist and acting coach and have helped numerous students get cast in productions and get into performing arts high schools and colleges.

I am also the founder of the production company Melanin & Magic Productions and I was a writer and producer for Fox's WWE.
