Anna Danshina

Anna Danshina is a multi-award-winning actress. In 2018 she won eight best actress awards for playing Lana in the feature film ‘Love Possibly’, directed by Che Grant and Michael Boccalini, which overall received more than 60 awards around the world. Her other feature film ‘The Bromley Boys’ directed by Steve Kelly, in which she played Anoushka, was the number one in Comedy and overall the number five best-selling DVD on Amazon. The film had its premiere at Wembley Stadium in May 2018 and features many well-known British actors including Martine McCutcheon, Alan Davies, Jamie Foreman and Adam Deacon.
In 2019 she will appear in two feature films – ‘Break’ directed by Michael Elkin, where she played the role of Alena alongside Rutger Hauer and Luke Mably; and the drama ‘Cordelia’ directed by Adrian Shergold where she played Natasha alongside Johnny Flynn and Michael Gambon. Anna has also been involved in other feature films including: 'You, Me and Him' with David Tennant directed by Daisy Aitkens and ‘Shapes' directed by Roberto Prestia.
Anna has appeared in TV shows such as ‘Family Matters’ and ‘Your Day in Court’. She has also been in many theatre productions in London such as ‘Ajax’, ‘Cockroaches’, ‘Joy Division’, ‘Notes from Underground’, ‘Morphine’, ‘The Idiot’ and ‘Wife for Sale’.
Anna has been featured by many Russian and British online and printed magazines including: Harrods Magazine (January 2019), YASS Magazine (December 2018), Rutage (February 2019). She has been a guest on radio shows broadcasting nationwide in the UK and Russia such as Love Sport Radio and Matryoshka. Anna is a 2016 graduate of the Drama Centre London, Central Saint Martins. She was born in Siberia and grew up in St. Petersburg. She was awarded the Hill Scholarship to pursue a Masters degree at Oxford University where she was the President of the Oxford University Russian Society. Before becoming a professional actress, Anna worked in International Relations and Diplomacy, being the Head of Public Diplomacy Campaigns at the British Embassy in Moscow, where she received the Best Staff Award in 2011. She speaks English and Russian fluently.
