Hi there!
Need a reader to help with an upcoming audition or self tape? I'm here to help - whether you're looking solely for a reader, or if you'd like feedback and tips to help you hone your performance.
I've been reading for and coaching fellow actors in person for the last seven years, and am excited to be your reader on WeAudition now!
I've been an actor for eight years, and for the past six years, I've also produced, written and directed a range of award-winning shorts that have played at multiple international festivals including Raindance, Hollyshorts and Blood in the Snow.
Julie has been acting professionally for eight years.
She grew up all around North America, including 7 years in Mexico. She eventually found her way to Vancouver, Canada to start a career in film and TV, performing in over 30 independent films before making her TV debut in Untold Stories of the ER's episode 'Dr. Robot', airing on TLC and Discovery Life. In 2019, she starred as forgotten 19th-century genius mathematician Ada Lovelace, in the award-winning short 'Ada'.
She trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, as well as with coaches Jeb Beach, Anthony Meindl and Larry Moss. Out on the international festival & awards circuit, Julie has won 4 Best Actress Awards, and has received 5 other Best Actress nominations.
