Paul Sefulu Talbot of Western Samoan and Australian nationality was born in PNG, Bougainville. He received accolades for nominations for best performances at Bond University for his roles as Argus in Good Knight Reverie and Bradley in The Picnic. It wasn’t until his lead role in Mirror Mirror as Paul, he was finally awarded best performance in QSFT awards night 2018.
He continued to catch the attention of his audiences in Eleventh Day as Robert Hodgeson, a pilot based on true events and comedic role Dick, in Dick’s Desolate Destinations, a parody showcasing his natural comedic abilities. It was not till his two theatre roles in Looking for Love (David, the Reverend) and Helpless the bittersweet (Joe, SUNPAC Qld) both sold out venues that proved not only his range but his versatility as an actor. Now taking the next step in his career he moved to Sydney late 2019 securing lead role of Varg in the TV series Nightingale Lonely Melodies, John (lead) In the Tunnel theatre play at the Sydney Short and Sweet Festival (postponed to 2021), Michael (lead) in Short film Company Policy by AI Films Australia and Halcyon Daze (accepted in the Pasika Film Festival 2020). His 2021 projects One shot as Justin (supporting role accepted in Hollywood Gold Awards) and Colours of Silence as Christopher (lead) solidifies his talent as an Australian artist preparing him for his next feat as John, a lead role in After She Died (Directed by Jack Dignan) and the Detective Sao in Free.
