Moran Atias

Israeli born actress, Moran Atias, is the international actress to remember. Within a few short months of arriving in Los
Angeles in 2008, Atias secured the dynamic role of “Inez” in the acclaimed drama series Crash, based on the Oscar®-
winning film. After one season, she became the female lead opposite the legendary Dennis Hopper. What followed was
a wealth of roles on popular TV shows including: “Rules of Engagement”, “CSI: NY”, “CSI: Miami” and “White Collar”.
Her strong television presence is mirrored on screen as Atias consistently lands a range of alluring, complex and versatile
roles. In Academy Award Winner Paul Haggis’ THE NEXT THREE DAYS, Atias appeared opposite Russel Crowe and
Elizabeth banks. It was however her transformation to an Albanian gypsy in Haggis’ THIRD PERSON that garnered her
much attention. Immersing herself in thorough character research, Moran lived the life of a Gypsy for 3 months to
commit to memory the power of rejection felt by marginalized people. Premiering at the 2013 Toronto International
Film Festival, Atias also served as a co-producer for the feature project.
Shortly after, Atias secured the mysterious lead of “Leila Al-Fayeed” in FX’s series “Tyrant”, embodying a powerful
woman in a powerless position within a fictional Middle Eastern nation. Atias was heavily involved in the sculpting of her
character through detailed costume and character arc development. Following this, Atias landed a feature role in the
FOX action drama “24: Legacy” as “Sidra”. She was most recently seen as “Renata Morali” in the FOX medical drama
“The Resident”, as the savvy and elegant head of marketing at Chastain Park Memorial and in SPEED KILLS alongside
John Travolta and Kellan Lutz. Moran adds A STAND UP GUY, CRAZY EYES and HONOR to her wealthy list of credits.
Outside of her work in television and film, Atias is a philanthropist, having received the Humanitarian Award from the LA
Femme Film festival for her work in Haiti evacuating 29 patients, and helping raise money to build the first High School
in Haiti for Artists for Peace and Justice. Atias was also honored with the Best Actress of the year award in the Ischia Film
Festival and has been honored on the Belgium Walk of Fame. Atias speaks Italian, Hebrew and English.
Atias can next be seen in the NBC drama series “The Village” in Spring 2019.
