Missy was born and bred in southern west Virginia and received her B.F.A. in acting from West Virginia University and performed as an at Apprentice at The Williamstown Theater and continued her studies at the Denver Colorado National Theater Conservatory.
Missy's solo show, "Awkwardly Fabulous" premiered to a sold out crowd at Whitefire SoloFest and to 6 sold out performances at The Hollywood Fringe Festival where she received the prestigious Encore Producers Award.
