Meg Martinez is an actor, singer, comedian, coach, and writer from Northeast Ohio. She is a member of Actor's Equity Association and holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from Brown University. She also studied at Carnegie Mellon University and completed graduate work at New York University.
Meg has been seen in such roles as the titular nanny in Mary Poppins, Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Petra in A Little Night Music, Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show, Imogen in Cymbeline, Sister James in Doubt, and Susan in [title of show]. She has also performed as a soloist in Handel's Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Hear My Prayer, Haydn's Missa in tempore belli, Vaughan Williams’ Magnificat, and Rutter's Gloria. Meg is also a cast member with Spectacular Party Entertainment, portraying classic Disney characters for parties, parades, and events.
Meg is a comedy writer and comedian with Imposters Theater, based in Cleveland, OH, and is a member of their resident sketch group, The Imposters. Her sketches and performances have been featured on Imposters Comedy's Instagram and YouTube, as well as at live venues such as Pickwick and Frolic, Mahall's, and the Winchester. She has studied sketch comedy, improv, and clowning with Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, and The Groundlings.
Meg also runs Audition With Meg, a coaching and consultation service for actors of all ages to aid with acting technique, audition preparation, and repertoire building.
