Meg Martinez is an actor, singer, comedian, coach, dramaturg, and writer. They are a member of Actor's Equity Association and hold a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Brown University. They also studied Drama at Carnegie Mellon University and completed graduate work in Musical Theatre at New York University.
Performing in regional theatre for over 15 years, Meg has been seen in such roles as the eponymous nanny in Mary Poppins, Sandra/Wendy in Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Martha in The Children's Hour, Janet Weiss in The Rocky Horror Show, Countess Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express, Imogen in Cymbeline, Sister James in Doubt, Susan in [title of show], and Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone. Meg was a comedy writer and comedian with Imposters Theater, and a member of their resident sketch group, The Imposters. They have studied sketch comedy, improv, and clowning with Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, and The Groundlings. They are also a current GOLD Comedy Digital Teams member.
Meg also founded The Moment Before, a coaching studio for actors of all ages to focus on acting technique, audition preparation, and repertoire building.
