My name is Masha King. I moved to New York to be an actor in 2004, and got my start in Commercials and Theatre before moving on to T.V. and Film. I love the art of storytelling, and I love self tapes. I enjoy getting to create an entire world for each scene within the frame. I love the process of unraveling the challenges of every scene, whether they are physical, emotional, or technical. But most importantly, I love the work - the very craft of acting. And that moment when all the elements come together to make the character pop off the page.
I’ve been creating self tapes with my own coach since long before the pandemic, and it truly is a process I’m comfortable with. My goal is to help you feel comfortable with the process too. I’m all about you creating the character and scene you have constructed, and am here to offer suggestions and feedback in whatever way you are comfortable with throughout the rehearsal process.
