I have found that helping other actors as a reader has also helped me be more aware and critical of my own performance. My experience working in all aspects of theatre and film, from fundraising to design and directing, has strengthened my intuitive eye for detail and subtlety. I can help you as a general reader if you just need someone to help you tape your audition, or I can provide more feedback if you desire. We can work through a scene together if you would rather use your time that way. I am very comfortable with cold reads. I am also fluent in Spanish and can provide a neutral accent if that is what the scene requires. I have even helped actors translate their sides when the casting directors ask for takes in Spanish but don't provide the text.
I'm a bilingual actor from South Texas with work experience ranging from childrens' theatre to network television. This includes bilingual and Spanish language theatre, voiceover, and camera work. I have a BA degree in Theatre from St. Edward's University in Austin, and also studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Drama in New York City. In addition to being a working actor, I have worked as a producer, director, and translator, and most other backstage theatre roles. I am a member of Actors Equity Association.
