MARINKO RADAKOVIC

Marinko (Marco) Radakovic is a Croatian-American actor living on the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts. He was born in Zagreb, Croatia (former Yugoslavia), and grew up in the middle-class neighborhood of Dubrava, a suburb of Zagreb.

At the age of 14, Marco was selected for the Croatian National Soccer Team and in high school led his team to a national title along with world-famous international players including Alen Peternac of Real Valladolid and Zvonimir Soldo of Stuttgart. He attended the University of Zagreb Law School (Sveuciliste u Zagrebu Pravani Fakultet) in Croatia following high school while also pursuing a career in professional soccer. These activities were cut short, however, due to the Croatian Civil War. When the war was over, having completed his honorable military service, Marco moved to the United States to resume his career in professional soccer, which abruptly ended 1.5 years later due to a career-ending injury.

Undeterred, Marco left professional sports and returned to his studies, this time at Salem State University in Massachusetts, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice / Political Science. It was during this time that he began modeling and acting, which has turned into his life's passion.

Marco has been fortunate to earn roles in successful movies directed by and starring award-winning artists such as: "Patriots Day" (2016) directed by Peter Berg and starring Mark Wahlberg; "Ghostbusters" (2016) directed by Paul Feig and starring Melissa McCarthy and Matt Walsh; "Black Mass" (2015) directed by Scott Cooper and starring Johnny Depp and Joel Edgerton; "Equalizer" (2014) directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington; and "The Drop" (2014) directed by Michael Roskam and starring Tom Hardy and (the late) James Gandolfini to name a few.

In television, he has appeared in successful shows such as "House of Cards", "Person of Interest", "Elementary", "Black List", and "The Jack and Triumph Show". Marco continues to appear in commercials and in print as well as proprietary training videos.

Marco is a dual-citizen of the United States and Croatia and resides in NYC/Boston. He is available for modeling and acting work in the US and internationally.
