Lisa Greene

Hi! I have a Theatre, Broadcasting and VO background, am originally from Chicago, and have lived and worked in LA since 2019. I've worked in Entertainment for my entire life...first in Theatre since age 11, including the lead in the comedy "Baby," worked on crew and onstage throughout school, then shifted for a while to Musical theatre. Favorite roles include "Grandma Tzeitel" in "Fiddler," "Winnie" in "42nd Street," and singer/dancer roles in "Me & My Girl," and in "Singin' in the Rain."

After college, I worked in Radio for over 25 years, both in Music Radio (yes, as a DJ, which I couldn't have done without my humble theatre beginnings! More goes into planning, writing, delivery and technical execution than most people understand. This includes show-prep, listening and reacting to others on your show, voicing commercials, and technical skills, among other things :) ), and as a News & Traffic Reporter, editor and producer. All highly collaborative--a version of acting. I've also held Assistant Program Director/Music Director positions, wherein I was routinely asked my opinions on new music by trade publications or record reps marketing the music you heard on the radio in your town, and coached talent on their execution within the medium. I also served as a Talent Demo Production Coach and instructor at Illinois Media School, have been a SAG-AFTRA member since 2001, have done various VO over the years, and since 2007, enjoy frequent background and stand-in acting, too. It's fun! Your mileage and goals may vary. I find it valuable work for many talent, for many reasons.

Additionally, I am a Certified Makeup Artist since 2008, and have worked on a variety of productions including print, headshots, fashion shows, music & industrial video, indie film, short film, and in retail wellness/natural channel skin care...running the gamut from Media makeup, to SFX makeup, to Clinical and Beauty makeup. I am also a Certified Yoga Instructor. Let the anxiety flow away; breathing techniques greatly affect not only the mind, to calm you before in-person auditions, but physically, how sound comes out of you when you're speaking, singing or acting.

These on-set, in-studio, and BTS experiences have yielded a unique combo of skill sets that allow me to serve as your reader, and to provide valuable performance perspective, consultation and feedback if you'd like it, as you progress in your Acting journey. Happy to help, and looking forward to meeting you!
