Lin Sagovsky

I trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School as an actor, and my acting spans tv, film, radio and other voicework, and theatre.

During lockdown, I’ve had some nice voicework which I’ve been able to do from home; a recent small appearance in Eastenders; and I’ve also done a lot of online workshops and actor-orientated meetings, including a 3-week online course on self -taping - which is fantastic. A real confidence boost in getting to grips with the tech side of things!

I also played Will Shakespeare in a solo show, first in private outside spaces last summer and subsequently on Zoom - bemoaning his own lockdown during the 1605 plague in London: good fun.

Alongside my acting career, I've spent 20+ years running workshops to help businesspeople get better at presentations and conversations - which I now do on Zoom for individuals and small groups. I really enjoy the coaching and feedback, and people are often astounded at the big difference small changes can make.

My other loves are watercolours, poetry-writing, and tending my tiny garden - bliss...
