Laura Jane Turner (she/they) is a multi-award winning, queer actor, director and producer based in Djilang (Geelong), Australia.
Her highly acclaimed and solo performance short film, Curve, celebrated a red carpet premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival and went on to qualify for the Academy Awards. In 2017, Laura Jane established independent, feminist production company F Word Films through which they produce and champion gender diverse and queer stories.
Graduating with First Class Honours from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2013, Laura Jane has performed with Red Stitch Actors Theatre, Complete Works Theatre Company and internationally with Chunky Move.
Laura Jane is currently training with Atlantic Acting School as the 2022 Equity Scholarship winner.
