Hi fellow actors, my name is Karen and I am here to help! I know how stressful auditions can sometimes be, so let me make it a little easier for you :) Not only am I here to give great reads, I can also help with notes or suggestions (if desired, of course!) and calming those last minute nerves with some breathing, relaxation techniques or working through the character and scene with you. I am a Los Angeles native Actor-Singer-Writer. I got my start in the entertainment business almost 20 years ago as the lead singer and founding member of Victory Records signed ska-punk band Chase Long Beach. After years of touring North America and Europe, I left the band in December of 2009 to commit myself to my first love: acting. I have since taken many classes from reputable schools such as Upright Citizen's Brigade and Second City. I am a member of two improv and sketch comedy groups whom each have respective monthly residencies at UCB and The Long Beach Playhouse. I have a vast background in theater, though my true passion lies in TV and Film. My resume is constantly growing, most recently shooting a commercial for FLO and starring in the latest episode of the web-series "Wine Day". In January of 2021, I officially became SAG-AFTRA Eligible and am currently seeking across the board representation here in LA. As well as acting, I am also the lead singer of an all-girl ska-pop punk band and writing my first sitcom pilot, which I plan to begin pitching in late 2021.
