My name is Julie Ann and I am an Irish-Filipino actor, born and raised in New Jersey, lived in NYC for a couple of years, in LA for a couple of years, and now back in NYC.
I worked with Judy Bowman as a casting assistant for 13+ years in New York and helped her cast theater as well as film. I am a strong cold reader and adept at both comedy and drama. I also have improv training. My main focus is to serve you and I will follow your lead in terms of what you need. Happy to give feedback if requested! I believe the key to all good work is specificity and I am here to help you dial in.
I received a BFA in Acting from Boston University, with a classical semester at LAMDA studying Shakespeare.
During my time in New York, I mainly worked in theater, commercials (20+ including a national commercial ... for Monistat, HAH), voiceovers and print.
Most notably, I was an original cast member in the hit off-Broadway Potter comedy "Puffs, Or; Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic". The show was filmed live and can be streamed on iTunes and Amazon. If you are at all a Potter fan ... it really is good fun and I hope you check it out.

Hey! My name is Julie Ann and I am a biracial actor.
I starred as an original cast member in the hit Harry Potter comedy "Puffs" off-Broadway in NYC (which was also filmed live and is currently on streaming services), was the lead in two short films, shot a co-star, and was the face of a viral PSA video (233K views and counting).
I was born and raised in New Jersey (recently watched all of The Sopranos and it spoke to my SOUL), then got my BFA in Acting from Boston University, with a classical semester at LAMDA. Afterwards, I moved to New York where I worked in theater, commercials, voiceover and print.
I now reside in Los Angeles.
