Juliana Baioni

Juliana Baioni started her musical career as a flutist, studying flute performance in college and traveling extensively as a member of the New England Youth Ensemble. Juliana was occasionally featured as a flute and vocal soloist. Her most memorable performance was singing the unofficial anthem of Puerto Rico for its governor and his cabinet. After graduation, Juliana turned her focus from flute to vocal performance. She has studied with Joan Bolling-May, Dr. Craig Johnson, and Dr. Raejin Lee, and is currently pursuing a Performance Certificate at La Sierra University in Riverside, CA.

Juliana performs frequently both as a soprano soloist and in various vocal ensembles. She performs regularly as a soloist for church services and special occasions, and was featured on Hope Channel’s Let’s Pray Christmas program in 2018. Notable ensembles she has participated in include the National Philharmonic Chorale of the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda, MD and United, a ten-member vocal ensemble of La Sierra University. Juliana’s musical theatre performances include the roles of Lady Thiang (The King and I), Mrs. Potts (Beauty and the Beast), Ms. Hannigan (Annie), Katisha (The Mikado), and most recently the beloved role of Maria Rainer in La Sierra University’s production of The Sound of Music.
