Maybe you need to work certain exercises from your bag of tools. Maybe you wanna work some exercises from my bag of tools. Or maybe you just need someone to say the lines so you know how it’s going to feel for the real deal. However you want to rehearse, it helps to read with someone who’s been in the trenches, like you, actively pursuing TV & Film roles.

And that’s me, J.J. Dunlap! I am an LA-based, professional TV and Film actor who’s most recent credits include Guest Starring on Netflix’s “Selena” and a Top-of-Show Recurring Guest Star role on CW’s “Legacies”, not to mention roles on “Shameless” (Showtime), Rizzoli & Isles (TNT), “Leftovers” (HBO) and more! I’ve studied directly with the likes of Ivana Chubbuck and Lesly Kahn and am a graduate of The Second City Conservatory Theater Hollywood and am currently enrolled at The Groundlings going into Writer’s Lab.

I understand that every actor’s process is different and that your technique is your own. I am here for you at whatever point in the process of an audition that you might be in. I’ll work with your technique and whatever needs you or the audition presents. I can tell you I bring a very flexible instrument myself along with an understanding of various acting techniques/coaches, but most importantly: story. Whether, it be TV or Film, multi-cam sitcom or procedural drama, let me help you get it in the bag.
