The show explored body image and the way society objectifies women. From there she got into Canada’s National Voice intensive with David Smuckler. From there she acquired an agent and began auditioning. Her first booking was a National TV commercial for Puffs Facial Tissue which aired during the Olympics. Which led to many more commercial bookings and then she found her passion I the world of television with her first role in Showcase’s SyFy "Continuum” . From there she appeared in different roles other networks such as Netflix, TNT, and also did a movie which aired on Lifetime called "I am Elizabeth Smart" . She moved to Vancouver, BC and quickly found herself began working on high profile projects such as "Travelers", "Snowpiercer", "The Fall of the House of Usher" and as recurring character, Detective Karen Riley in the web series called "Desturbia".
