Reads for free & accepts tips
Being a reader is one of my favorite things to do; I believe it benefits both of us!
NYC-based actor of screen and stage. I have an affinity for comedy, and l love to play around with scenes to deliver fresh ideas with all of your takes. I've got UCB improv and sketch writing training under my belt, and I've also worked in the fields of casting and management during my time here on Earth! I'm happy to provide feedback and suggestions if that's something you'd like.
I'm proficient in drama, as well! My B.A. is in Theatre, and IRL, I continued to study acting, usually at The Barrow Group. IPL (in pandemic life), I've been pumping out a lot of Zoom plays to try and stay sharp.
I've worked as a reader for various CDs and even got paid for it for a while at The Actors Launchpad. Hit me up, I'd love to meet you!
30-something SAG-AFTRA female who hears the word "quirky" a lot when people talk about her. Earned my B.A. in Theatre in 2007 and have been working ever since!
My strength lies in towing the line between creepy and cute, and I love comedy the most. Often get called in for roles like:
silly best friend
warm pre-school teacher
Karen-esque suburban mom
neurotic lady that probably doesn't have a job
I have training in improv and sketch writing from UCB and the Magnet, and I continue to train at The Barrow Group.
Resume can be found at jamiesoltis.com/resume. I've co-starred on Difficult People and The Blacklist and am the first person in the whole wide world to be writing a webseries.
