Hayley Brown

Hi! I'm an Atlanta-based actor with a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern California and extensive training and experience in Shakespeare - I'm a huge nerd. After several years self-producing in L.A. after college, I relocated to Atlanta 5 years ago and it was the best decision I could make for my life personally and professionally. Since relocating, I booked a co-star on ABC's Kevin (Probably) Saves the World as well as guest star roles on re-enactment shows A Haunting and Homicide Hunter. I'm repped by Kathleen Schultz Associates in Atlanta, and Marilyn's Agency out of Greensboro, NC. I'm available for rehearsing, memorization help, self-tape assistance/coaching, and even just conversation around locals casting in the Southeast market, self-producing theatre and short films, and my experience in relocating from L.A. to Atlanta. In L.A., I trained with Theatricum Botanicum, Antaeus Theatre, and Groundlings; in Atlanta, I've trained with Sara Mornell and Action Show Studios; in London, I have trained at RADA and BADA in Shakespeare and Musical Theatre.

Extra Extra:
I co-founded a Classically-based women-led theatre company in Los Angeles in 2014 and produced 7 shows over the course of 2.5 years, with two productions receiving Encore! Producers' Awards in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, as well as Robby Awards and nominations for Best Direction, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best Drama for R&J, a gender-reversed Romeo and Juliet. My short musical parody, Les MiseraBaristas, was featured on ABC 20/20 True Confessions and received the Audience Choice Award in the Thriving Artist Circle's Tiny Film Fest. In Atlanta, I frequently perform with Shakespeare On Draught, under-rehearsed Shakespeare plays in the parking lot of Orpheus Brewing, which routinely bring in audiences of 400+ for tipsy, irreverent, highly engaging Shakespeare featuring Atlanta's best talent. My crowning achievement was playing Aemilius, a Roman messenger in Titus Andronicus, who rode in astride a unicorn that never stood still on stage (thank you, Target Halloween costumes). I also played Hermia in Midsummer, and Isabella in Measure for Measure, but seriously, Aemilius was the best. In the midst of COVID, I accidentally co-founded another theatre company, Mirth Theatre, producing outdoor, socially distant Shakespeare in the amphitheater at Ponce City Market here in Atlanta.
