Hi, I'm an Italian-American actor working across the US, UK, Canada and Italy, in film, TV and theatre. Based in London, Rome and Toronto, credits include Game of Thrones and Justice League and I enjoy working with actors as a reader and coach.
Really happy to help you self-tape, rehearse, chat about the work, run lines, coach and give feedback and direction. I love anything to do with the work and enjoy the process as much as I do the results.
I work in a series of accents, including General American, Italian, Russian and Serbian. Perfectly bilingual (English-Italian), I have strong knowledge of Serbian, Spanish and French.

Known for his charming on-screen villains, award-winning actor Gianpiero Cognoli was born in Rome, the only child of an Italian mâitre d' and Yugoslav social worker. Based in London, he was raised in Toronto where he showed an interest in acting from an early age. After attending William L. Mackenzie Collegiate Institute, he completed a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in business, both at York University. He then moved to Italy where he began studying acting. His debut performance in Acaluma won the film several awards and kicked off his acting career, leading to a breakout role in HBO's Game of Thrones, alongside Emmy-nominee Emilia Clarke.
He is best known for his roles in Oscar-winner The Great Beauty, Warner Bros' Justice League -- alongside Billy Crudup -- MGM TV's Four Weddings and a Funeral -- opposite Nikesh Patel -- and as real-life detective Phil Gentile in StudioCanal's drama series On Death Row (En el corredor de la muerte).
Gianpiero is a native speaker of English, Italian, and Serbian and also speaks Spanish and French.
