Subsequently Faye made other comedic appearances on the ever-popular TV soaps Coronation Street (ITV) and Emmerdale (ITV); which followed more serious roles in Blue Murder (ITV) Crimewatch (BBC) and The Royal (ITV) to name but a few.
Focussing in her early life, Faye’s father was a Captain in the Merchant Navy meaning her childhood years were spent living abroad in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. Following a permanent return to the UK Faye’s first Equity contract role was playing a 14 year old Girl Guide in the long running Yorkshire Television show ‘Heartbeat’. Faye has since stated it was this experience that confirmed to her TV acting was her future.
Outside of acting Faye holds a Masters Degree qualification with Distinction from the University of Birmingham, and also speaks conversational French. Faye appreciates spending her down time travelling with her young daughter.
