Dylan Stretchbery is an actor/improviser based out of Los Angeles. Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Dylan began performing at an early age and later graduated from Bowling Green State University with a focus in theatre and film acting. With full training in the Meisner Technique (The Taylor School of Acting) as well as several years of improvisational experience (UCB, The Second City), Dylan used these skills to create and star in the dark comedy, "The Thick Blue Line", a gritty cop series that asks the question, "What if True Detective...was funny?"
When not acting, Dylan enjoys watching football and is a huge fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. An eternal optimist, he predicts that next season will be the year the Browns win the Super Bowl.
Dylan Stretchbery is an actor/improviser based out of Los Angeles. Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, Dylan began performing in high school and later graduated from Bowling Green State University with a focus in theatre and film acting. While in college, Dylan was very active in the department of theatre and film, appearing in several films and plays as well as performing with The Plastic Shatners, a student improv team.
In the fall of 2011, Dylan continued his training in the Comedy Studies program at The Second City in Chicago where several of his sketches and a song he authored were included in the final showcase.
One of his most memorable projects was a lead role in Meeting Jenny, a short film written and directed by Tammy-Anne Fortuin. The plot centers around a soft-spoken writer, who must get an unknown, foul-mouthed woman, who may or may not be pregnant with his baby, out of his house before his fiance comes home. Dylan was able to show his range of emotion in this dramatic comedy. The short film has received wide recognition and was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Corner. He has also completed several short films and web series in LA, including projects with The University of Southern California and The New York Film Academy.
Dylan is currently taking improv classes as well as interning with The Upright Citizens Brigade. He has also received training from Killian’s Commercial Workshops.
