Dan Olivo is an actor and singer. As an actor, Dan began his career performing in various plays with his parents Rocco and Maria Olivo
whom in 1972 founded The Italian Theater of Arts in Los Angeles.
Since then, Dan has worked as an actor in film, television, theater and radio and as a singer and bandleader at various venues all over Southern California.
Dan studied acting with one of the most prestigious acting teachers Milton Katsales at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Dan's credits include staring as Joe Gusto in the award winning comedy "The Deposition of Lou Bagetta", Jimmy in the popular web series "Vampire Mob" and Nick on FOX's Malcolm in The Middle.
Dan has most recently played the role of Leno LaBianca in Mary Harron's ("American Psycho") latest film "Charlie Says".
Dan also worked opposite Christina Hendrix on NBC's "Good Girls", Zoey Deschanel on FOX’s “New Girl” and with “Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte in the independent feature “Who’s Driving Doug”?
As a singer, Dan specializes in The Great American Songbook.
Dan and his jazz band perform at various events and venues all over Southern California, including The Bar Nineteen12 of The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Ritz Carlton at Corona Del Mar,
The Riviera Hotel and Frank Sinatra House in Palm Springs, and Now Boarding Cocktail Lounge in West Hollywood.
Dan radio appearances include The Fabulous 570 KLAC and The Lounge on 690 AM with radio personalities Brad "Martini" Chambers and Gary Owens.
Dan recently performed at the popular Eagle Rock Music Festival, as well as The Mistletoe and Martini Christmas Concert at The Universal Amphitheater sponsored by the radio station where
Frank Sinatra Jr., Natalie Cole, Steve Tyrell, Bobby Caldwell and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy also performed.
