Claire Burgi

I'm Claire! (she/they) ✨ I am here for whatever you need. Running lines only? Great! Some help breaking down a scene? Great! Want some adjustments to play around with? Great! Or anything else acting related you might want assistance with I'm here for you. I love working with actors! Currently offering free sessions for the first twenty folks I work with! (In lieu of $$ I'd be grateful for a follow on IG or TikTok! @claireburgi)

I have a strong ear for comedy, but I love the drama too! 🎭 I can also coach musical theatre and help read sheet music! I went to college for vocal performance/opera. I have trained in both New York City and Los Angeles at studios such as MN Acting Studio, The Barrow Group, Upright Citizens Brigade, The Last Acting Studio, and am currently working with acting/audition coach Amy Lyndon. I have performed professionally on stage and on screen, and love both worlds of showbiz very much.

Additionally, I am good with young performers! I worked in childcare for many years and have taught and coached many young actors over the years.

I want to help you succeed! I'm also a big geek and if you want to talk movies or screenwriting or comic books, I'm here for that too. 🤓

Most notably Claire performed opposite Molly Shannon in the season two finale of the HBO Max Original, "The Other Two." In the episode she graciously lost a game of Tic Tac Toe. (Who knew it could be so difficult?) Recently Claire filmed her first supporting role in an independent feature film in NYC, and taught four weeks of youth performing arts camps in Southern California. Last year Claire portrayed an anxious stage manager in the mockumentary pilot, "DOGS! The Musical." (Yes, a mockumentary about a knock-off parody of CATS.)

In addition to acting, Claire is also a screenwriter. In 2017 she wrote, produced, and starred in her first short film "Blush," which was an official selection for Cine Fern (2018), and semifinalist for Los Angeles CineFest (2018). In 2019 Claire's short film "Maggie" made it to the final round of voting for the NYFA Women in Filmmaking Grant. Currently in 2024 she is writing and developing a mockumentary pilot about the employees of a comic book store.
