Chris Rochester
Chris was bitten by the acting bug in 2003, and after a series of short courses, won a place on Alra’s postgraduate course in 2007. He said goodbye to a 13 year career in Social Housing Management, and emerged in 2008 to realise his acting ambition, to tread the boards as Othello. He went on to play the Moor in two more productions and Iago in his most recent visit to the play. He has appeared in numerous films, and is currently featured in three films on Amazon Prime: White Powder, Six Rounds and Adult Content. He has appeared in many commercials for well-known brands such as BT, Nat West Bank, Disney, Mini and Sky Sports to name a few. He is currently appearing in commercials for Enterprise Car Rentals and Paddy Power.
He was born in London, and is of Jamaican heritage, but, because of his multicultural upbringing, has a grasp on a number of different accents. He has two children, who have grown up working with him on jobs in the industry.
Chris has a wealth of experience in immersive theatre, he has worked for Facebook, Ray Ban, Honda and Umbro on the Corporate side. On the public side, he has been in six Secret Cinema productions, the latest being Stranger Things which played to 110,000 people over nearly 100 performances.
On the Corporate side, Chris has acted in filmed projects for the Home Office, the Foreign Office, EE, PWC, KPMG, GSK and Deloitte to name a few, and on the live side for the NHS, TFL, the Prison Service, and Southwark and Camden Council.
Chris is the voice of Jamie in Zombies, Run! The world’s best selling smartphone fitness app, with over 5 million players worldwide.
