Catherine was born in Ethiopia to missionaries who returned to the UK when she was 3. She grew up in Hertfordshire where they finally settled. Originally studied Art & Design at Brighton university and continued her passion for acting at the same time. She later returned to university to complete a Masters in Acting at the prestigious East 15 Acting School in 2011.
