My name is Cassandra Ballard and I am a SAG working actress, based in Los Angeles. My TV/Film credits include shows like "American Horror Story",
"9-1-1", "Minx", "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", and "Bloodline", to name a few. I genuinely love connecting with and helping other fellow actors, as I know how difficult last minute auditions can be, especially when trying to find a great reader!
I've been professionally acting in TV, Film, and on stage for over 10 years in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Atlanta, and on a smaller scale since I was 13 years old. I have a BFA in Acting with an emphasis on film from Lindenwood University. In addition, I've studied under Gregory Berger, head of On Camera Acting at Yale School of Drama and also alongside Desean Terry, instructor at The Last Acting Studio ("The Morning Show"). The list of classes and schools I've studied with while in LA is extensive and ever-growing, but includes classes on Commercials, Scene Study, Improv, Voice Over, Stage Combat, Voice lessons, Character Development, Body & Movement, Auditioning, and On-Camera, to name a few.
I offer help with line memorization, scene reading and rehearsal, self-tape tips and reading, all things audition, and coaching (only if the advice is asked for and welcome!). I teach private coaching lessons outside WeAudition, as well.
I look forward to meeting you and helping in any way I can. This industry is hard enough as it is, hopefully I can make it that much easier. I'm rooting for you!
