Born and raised in Oakland, CA, I spent my time on a baseball field instead of a stage. I had potential, a lot of it, but I lacked discipline. I wanted to be great, but I didn't want to work for it. I thought showing up at team practice was "enough" to be great. I learned the hard way that I was wrong. Eventually, my opportunities to play at the next level ran dry and I now have to live with that feeling of regret for the rest of my life.
Incredibly, I almost let that happen with my dream of acting. I knew I could be good, but I never worked at it. I almost waited for the opportunity to fall in to my lap as if I deserved it! I kept telling myself that my opportunity will come someday.
On September 22, 2017, I turned "Someday" into "Today" and haven't looked back since.
