Amy Lee Pearsall
Hi there! I'm a SAG-AFTRA/AEA performer based in NYC who enjoys assisting with self-tapes/rehearsal, providing feedback when asked, and connecting with other actors. I understand the value of having a reader who is committed, curious, and wants to see you do your absolute best. I'd like to be that reader for you!
I've studied with The Barrow Group (Lee Brock & Seth Barrish), HB Studio (Austin Pendleton), Kathleen Turner, Ted Sluberski, and got my BA in Theatre Arts from St. Ed's University in Austin, TX. I also trained in Suzuki / Viewpoints with SITI Company and learned improv and sketch comedy with UCB. To cope with the pandemic, I turned my one good Manhattan closet into a sound booth blanket fort and jumped into voice over. I'm also a writer and teach yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.
If you book the role we've worked on or if you get pinned for a callback, please let me know so I can cheer for you! And if my beacon is off, give me a shout and we'll set something up. Feel free to reach out via IG (@animasolaarts) or email (amy.lee.pearsall@gmail.com). I'm in NYC, so when suggesting times please suggest in EST. Many thanks!
I'm a theatre, film, and voice over actor based in New York City. With a soft spot for new theatrical works, I've appeared in original stage productions and workshopped new pieces for writers like Brian Watkins, Dan Kitrosser, Mac Rogers, Johnna Adams, Ross Howard, Jan Rosenberg, Ryan Bernsten, Crystal Skillman and Fred Van Lente.
My work in 2020's independent film THE PLAYGROUND earned several festival nods (Best Actress awards from Kosice International Monthly Film Festival, Five Continents International Film Festival, Prague International Monthly Film Festival, and Istanbul Film Awards). My voice acting can be heard in audio dramas on Broadway Podcast Network.
After receiving my BA in Theatre Arts from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX, I moved to NYC. Since then, I've studied with Lee Brock & Seth Barrish (The Barrow Group), Austin Pendleton (HB Studio), Kathleen Turner, Ted Sluberski, Heidi Marshall, and Marci Phillips.
