Amanda Jones

Hey there! I'm a Dartmouth College graduate and New York-based classically trained actor, recently nominated for the Eve Gore Booth Award for Outstanding Performance at the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival for my performance of Claire in David Stallings’s The Baby Monitor. Film and TV credits include the award-winning short The Fisherboy (with Abe Goldfarb) and roles on One Life to Live.

I've also worked as an audition and class reader for professional casting directors and Off-Broadway theater companies, as well as a corporate trainer and teacher.

Amanda is a New York-based classically trained actor, recently nominated for the Eve Gore Booth Award for Outstanding Performance at the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival for her performance of Claire in David Stallings’s The Baby Monitor. Her film and TV credits include the award-winning short The Fisherboy (with Abe Goldfarb) and roles on One Life to Live. She’s performed with amazing actors like Brian Murray, Jay O. Sanders, Robert Cuccioli and Samuel West.

Amanda grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts, and spent her childhood as a water baby--swimming, waterskiing, ice skating and downhill skiing. Amanda raced slalom and giant slalom in high school and college. At Dartmouth College, in addition to acting in 40 productions, she was a member of the ski patrol at the Dartmouth Skiway.

These days, when not performing, Amanda is building a voiceover career, skiing, taking dance classes (swing and salsa), and knitting cat toys for her spoiled cats.
