Allyson Reilly

I am a native New Yorker and have been a proud member of SAG AFTRA since 2003.

I hold a BA in Acting from Northeastern University and did my Classical training at Shakespeare & Company, Lenox MA under Tina Packer and Kristin Linklater.
Over the years I've continued training in New York and Los Angeles, most notably with John Markland and Christinna Chauncey, where I also served as her assistant and reader in her on-camera class.
I write, produce, and direct my own work, with a short I created doing well on the festival circuit.
I am also trained to teach mediation and breathwork and have a strong intuitive sense.
I've lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles as a regular reader for various casting directors- being a fly on the wall in those offices was invaluable to me as an actor, and serves me well as a reader as I help you tape. I know how to support you without drawing focus, know the appropriate pacing of different generes, and genuinely want to help you get a tape you are proud to send that exemplifies the best of your talent.
I am a go-to reader for many of my friends, and would love to be a reader for your rehearsal or self-tape audition, and can also provide coaching and/or advice if you would like.
