Getting another perspective, someone else's view, can give you an advantage as an Actor. I may see things you miss, and vice-versa!
I believe that helping other Actors with their scene's not only serves them, but it helps me too. I gain experience, knowledge and learn from you. How amazing!
Breaking down a scene to me involves:
-Finding your objective, what you want in that moment
-Establishing the relationship you have with the other person
-Knowing your environment, what's around you, how does the environment make you feel?
-Tactics, how you'll get what you want
- Stake, what you'll lose if you don't achieve your objective
-Given circumstance, what's just happened before the scene starts? Audience should feel like they're walking in on something that's already started
-Pace, rhythm, energy, uniting can help, where are the changes/shifts?
Shannon was extremely academic at School, and thought she would follow a safer, more secure career path. However, Shannon knew she had a love for the Arts, and decided to following her calling, rather than follow what everyone else seemed to deem 'right'.
Shannon trained at the diverse and ground breaking School, 'Identity School of Acting', for which she gained a place in the Professional Tier, after she sharped her skills as an Actress and gained the relevant experience to start working professionally withing the industry. Shannon was invited to audition for the sub-division of IAG, 'IDSA Talent', where she was successful and gained more experience whilst journeying her way to gain full representation with the force that is; Identity Agency Group (IAG).
Shannon lived and moved to many different parts of the Country as a child, naturally giving her an ear for accents and different dialects, for which she has a passion for.
Most of her childhood was spent in Devon, however, where Shannon became one with nature, and her passion for the Sea grew, spending as much of her time Surfing the beautiful beaches of North Devon.
