Scott Myers

Bio:
Beginning his passion for performing and entertaining at an early age, Scott modeled as an infant before beginning to act for radio, film, television, and theatre at the age of five. His love of making people laugh led him to and from Chicago until he began to call it his home in 2010 when he started school at Columbia College Chicago. Beginning since his time at Columbia he has become exponentially engrossed in Chicago's Stage Combat community--performing, designing, and captaining fights for a multitude of companies, venues, and artists. During the years after earning his undergraduate degree, Scott worked as an actor, fight director, and producer for three years before moving to London to further pursue his arts education. When not acting, fighting, or producing, Scott enjoys bicycling, spicy foods, fitness, crocheting, cold-brew iced coffee, subverting expectations, writing bios in third-person, and telling dad jokes.

Scott is a SAG-AFTRA Eligible Actor with a Bachelor of Arts in Comedy Writing & Performance and a Minor in Stage Combat from Columbia College Chicago's Theatre and Stage Combat Programs. He is the first person in the world to hold these two degrees concurrently. Most recently, he graduated from the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art with a Master of Arts in Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre. Scott proudly bears the Advanced Actor-Combatant designation with the Society of American Fight Directors, maintains certifications with The British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, and is a graduate of the Comedy Studies Program at Second City. Scott has also completed levels 1 & 2 of the Conservatory Program at Second City and served as the artistic director & principal fight director of Robert Frosty Theatre Company, an absurd and slapdash group of storytellers that retells tales of American folklore through gratuitous sword fighting, preposterous rewrites to history, and unnecessarily over-the-top costumes.
