{In winter ‘25/‘26, I’ll be in Prague, Vienna, and Bremen touring their national theatres in a Shakespeare production.}
If you need a reader, a scene partner, or just someone to practice with, I can do either. If you need just a regular reader for sides I can do that, too. :D
I have been taught by a lot of CDs (James Calieri, Pat Golden, Judy Henderson, Liz Ortiz, Pamela Kramer, etc.) and I can help a lot with last minute sides.
I am non-union, but in the past, I had the attention of some executives at A&E, and an agent at some prestigious agency was looking to build my brand/watching my career for about three or four years because I got referred by a former member of SNL. (But I get stress seizures and auditions trigger them sometimes, so with my health,,,🤷🏻♀️.) I recently auditioned for a major director currently filming a blockbuster film. And literally unrelated, but Ive run scenes with an actor from a few Marvel movies. I have also been praised for my acting by playwrights when performing their work for the stage.
If you want/need a scene partner to work on Shakespeare, I have worked extensively in the medieval/early modern drama of Shakespeare and his contemporaries from working with the fantastic actor/academic collaborative-ensemble of Beyond Shakespeare Company (members have played at the Globe or in shows such as The Foundation series) for two years and from studying with Patsy Rodenburg. Some of my classmates from her workshop series-es included actors from Orange is the New Black, John Wick, and others who worked in voice acting and directing triple A videogames.
In addition, I have studied Shakespeare with Peter Francis James (God Father of Harlem), Keith David (300+ roles), Elizabeth Shepard, Brian Mcmanamon (Gotham), Pam Scott (Celebrity Coach), Doug West (Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), and Greek Tragedy with Jake Harders (CSSD).
I also have a lot of experience playing and interpreting the plays of Brecht, Chekhov (in English and in Russian), Shaw, Tennessee Williams, Noël Coward, and Neil Simon thanks to Austin Pendleton (Playwright), Jessica Hecht (Breaking Bad/The Boys), Bob Verlaque (The Umbrella Academy), Terry Schreiber, Larry Moss (Celebrity Coach), and Frank Wood (Tony Award Winner).
So, please bring those sort of texts, too, if thats what you are interested in or auditioning for.
-OR- if you would like to work on material in a foreign language, I also have a working knowledge (B2-ish) in all languages of the Germanic and Romance language families and an alright knowledge (A1/A2 to B1) of the Slavic languages.
As for commercials, I have been taught by John Swain (100+ commercials), Barry Shapiro (casts for the Superbowl), and Leila Sbitani (E!) in hosting; In sitcom, clown, and comedy, I have been taught by Richard Kline (Threes Company), Peta Lily, Justine Williams, Joy Masters (PIT), and one of the biggest directors in the industry. I would love to dive into some copy with you or just improv and play.
I’ve taken singing classes by Stephen DeRosa, Betty Buckley (Cats), and Theresa McElwee. I got sort of well known at my university for just walking around and singing wherever there were good acoustics. I sang opera for about 9 years, wrote songs and know how to get the voice ready and warmed up quickly.
Movement with Janice Orlandi, Martha Bernard, Thomas Vasiliades (Juilliard), Peta Lily. I have also been trained in ballet, tap, en pointe, Irish step, taekwondo, krav maga, kickboxing, yoga, and fencing. So, if you are in need of a former athletes perspective on a characters physical life, I can give that.
The majority of my training has taken place in New York (HB Studio, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, T. Schreiber Studio, Juilliard Evening Division, SITI Company, PIT, Groundlings Theatre and School, Actors Connection, NY Butoh Institute); and I have also taken workshops/short-courses at RCS, the Guildhall School, RADA, CSSD in London and Scotland.
