Paul Wilkins
Hi there! I'm Paul Wilkins, a British actor with a native English RP accent.
With over a decade of acting experience, I am presently based in Cork, Ireland whilst pursing an MA in Voice Performance (around work/auditions).
To start off, I'm offering my first few sessions for free. More than happy to offer specific accent advise towards regional UK accents.
Paul Wilkins is a British citizen with a native RP accent, trained at ArtsEd in London, and has played leading roles in both stage and screen - He is now a dual resident of the UK and Ireland. He began his career with the 30th Anniversary London company of 'Les Misérables'. His role as Marius took him on a 2016 Asian Tour, performing in Manila, Singapore, and at the grand opening of the Dubai Opera House. Returning to the UK, he continued as Marius for 18 months at The Queen's Theatre (renamed Sondheim Theatre in 2019).
Paul originated the role of Reggie in 'The Dreamers' at Abbey Road Studios, a musical by Gina Georgio and James Beeny. He toured the UK and Germany in the 50th Anniversary Tour of 'Hair' as Claude Bukowski, earning praise from The Stage. Recently, Paul completed development rehearsals for 'Lady M', set to debut in Shanghai in May 2024.
Currently, Paul is pursuing an MA at the Cork School of Music in Ireland and appears in the 2024 commercial 'Your Vote Is Your Voice' for Ireland's Electoral Commission. His other credits include George Greenhorn in 'Ann Duck' (National Theatre) and a soloist on BBC Radio 2's 'Friday Night is Music Night'.
